2 berth: the Fiat Ducato campervan, easy to drive and park
Our 2 berth motorhomes are built on the Fiat Ducato by NZ builder ACM and by Jayco. At 6.1 to 6.4 m long, a Fiat Ducato campervan fits most car parks and drives much like a large van. It suits couples who want to travel often and travel light.
4 berth: room for guests without the bulk
The 4 berth layout uses an electric drop-down bed, so you are not making up a bed from the table every night. It suits couples who host grandchildren or friends now and then.
6 berth: the family motorhome
Our 6 berth is the Talvor Euro Deluxe on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Key figures:
Be honest with yourself about the beds. The only permanent bed is over the cab, reached by ladder. The others are made up from the dinettes. Many owners use one dinette as a permanent second bed.
It also has no solar fitted as standard. Solar can be added, and we can quote it for you.
Which licence do I need?
A full NZ car licence (Class 1) covers vehicles up to 6,000 kg gross laden weight. Our 6 berth has a gross vehicle mass of 5,000 kg. Check the weight on any vehicle you look at.
